22/24 Sheep casing (100 yard / bundle)
Generally used for cappicola, veal sausage, large bologna, lebanon and cooked salami. Sausage Maker casings are packed in purified salt for an indefinite shelf life when refrigerated. Casings should be flushed before using. Not edible. Salted casings have a very long shelf life when stored properly. When refrigerated, packed liberally in purified salt, they have an indefinite shelf life. Un-refrigerated, these salted casings quickly begin to give off a strong odor even though they are not spoiled. Put them back under refrigeration and this odor for the most part subsides. Approximate length per strand is 28-32". Stuffing capacity per casing: 8-10 lbs.
